Hunter Carl Higdon had best prepare for the next time he goes out to hunt Elk and Moose. Higdon was an experienced Hunter in The Medicine Bow Region of The State of Wyoming (US). The date was October 25, 1974. At around 5 P.M. He trained his rifle on what he perceived to be an Elk. He fired 1 round from his .30-06 Rifle. Instead of seeing a falling Elk, a Being arose from the heavy bush! It was described as 6 feet tall. The Being was wearing a one-piece coverall (black), with several cases attached to it (some with straps). Higdon noted several Star insignia on some of these. Higdon remarked in his testimony that what struck him most about the Creature, was that it's hair appeared to be standing straight up (as the comedy movies use to denote fright ). Also, the Being had 2 fleshy-like protrusions coming from the top of his head . The Being identified himself as Ausso. Higdon asked if he had hit (shot) The Being by accident.
The creature responded ''No'' (in common English). The Being next extended his right hand (which appeared to be rod or cone shaped). The Being appeared to be taking readings with the device. The Being then stopped and withdrew several pills from his bag. When Higdon asked ''what they were'', The Being responded with ''4 day Pills'' . No other conversations happened between Higdon and The Being. Suddenly, a Cage-like device appeared next to the Being. The Creature slowly got into this device and sat down. The device (and the Being) disappeared. Higdon then stated that he saw what appeared to be a bright light to the front of him (brighter than the surrounding Stars). The light winked out . Higdon searched for any evidence of his Encounter . He did find his spent bullet. It appeared to have in fact struck the Being. It was flattened, as if it had hit a solid piece of metal. The Story made National and International Headlights (for a time), before being largely forgotten by time.
