The McChord Air Foce Base Incident

The United States Air Force has two opinions on this Case. The first "20 years" would get the answer, "Top Secret and Classified". The second (in the 1990s) was, "It didn't happen". Sounding like an "Episode" of the American Television Show "The X-Files", - so starts thus rather amazing tale. On October 14, 1972, two Air Force Technicians were sent from McChord AFB Base (Washington State), to preform routine maintenance on a remote Tactical Navigational Array Station, some 8-miles from Base. All was normal when they arrived. Going inside, they commenced work.

At around 2:00 PM, the Technicians heard a "loud, high-pitched noise", coming from outside. The two went to investigate. What they immediately saw, stunned them. Just East of the building, they saw a "large Silvery, Disc Shaped Object" beginning to land! The Technicians said that almost immediately after landing, "Two Beings" exited - and started to approach the Facility! One of the Technicians ran inside and immediately called McChord Air Police. It took 17 minutes, but 2 Units arrived. Driving up to the Gate, The APs found the two Technicians "frozen from fear" in front of their vehicle. They both appeared to have what appeared to be "a heavy, Red Sunburn on their faces". While investigating the area, the AP found scorched marks in the ground.

Within seconds "The Object" reappeared and landed a second time. Running to their Patrol Car (Technicians in tow), they radioed McChord AFB, using the radio Code "Covered Wagon" - indicating that the Facility was "under attack". The APs drove away, about 1-mile to await "reinforcements". 4 addition Units arrived, and all went back to the Site, encircling it. The Craft was still there. The "Beings" were standing by the fence line, when they were approached by the group of APs (now with weapons drawn). The Police ordered the Creatures to "raise their hands into the air". It was then noticed that one if the Beings gad some kind of object in it's hand. Fearing for their lives, one Officer discharged 6 rounds into one of the Beings.

The Creature seemed unphased. The two Creatures turned and went back inside their Craft. The AP Group began to circle the Craft. Within seconds however, the Object began to raise up slowly, to a height of 300-feet. It shot up into the sky at a "high rate of speed". An Official Investigation was conducted. The results were "sealed" Top Secret and all parties involved were re-assigned to different Bases. It took 30-years before several "witnesses" would speak (anonymously, of course - for fear of Government retribution).
