The Maury Island Incident

Considered by many as a Hoax, The Maury Island Incident happened over Puget Sound, Washington State, in 1947. The story, told by Fred Crisman (who experienced it) was that he and several friend were out on a Fishing Boat in The Sound. It was a clear and beautiful day. Suddenly, a groups of 6 Saucer-shaped Objects slowly began to appear over the Water. He described the Craft with great detail (multiple levels of window, etc). The air was displaced under the Lead Craft . Suddenly, this Ship was over their boat and began to dump various sizes of what appeared to be molten metal onto their ship!. A friend of Crisman suffered a direct impact which broke his arm and his dog (also on board) was struck and killed! Crisman stated that at that time, a Military Aircraft (apparently in distress), went flying overhead. Smoke was pouring out from the rear of the aircraft. He said they didn't see the plane crash , but appeared that it was .

The Alien Craft then floated back up into space and vanished behind some clouds. Crisman gathered up the strange pieces of silver and white metal that was covering their boat. They went back and reported the incident (including the troubled Aircraft - to local Authorities). Over the next several months, Crisman told News Outlets his story (and showed his evidence ). He started receiving strange Visitors in black business suits (who identified themselves as Government Agents). In all their visits they repeatedly warned Crisman NOT to talk further about his encounter). They also supposedly took all his evidence - save a few hidden pieces. After analysis of the metal it was determined to be common slag (molten metal) from a furnace and that Crisman made up his story. (Maybe.....Maybe Not)
