1957s ''The Man Without A Body'' was a Black & White British produced ''B''-Movie, which even today stands as a classic example of British Horror 'schlockery''. When reviewed, The Film was attacked on both sides of The Atlantic. However, steadfast ''B''-Movie Horror Fans have in recent years embraced it, making it worth a watch (for laughs if nothing more). The Film deals with an uber wealthy businessman diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. He learns of a Doctor performing futuristic experiments in France, involving brain transplants. Spending vast amounts of monies to finance our ''French Dr. Frankenstein'', The Millionaire learns that a brain can be transplanted into another body, with a like transfer of certain ''personality traits''.

It becomes necessary to find a brain worthy of such a wealthy and powerful Man. It is decided that a quick raid to a Paris Cemetery to retrieve the head of noted 16th Century Mystic Nostradamus (who somehow has not seen His brain decompose in any way). Hooked to various machines of the Doctor's design, Nostradamus Head comes to life (even speaking English). Pleased, The Businessman taps into Nostradamus' ability to foresee the future, to manipulate stocks and business concerns. The Businessman awaits impatiently for His transplant. However, when our Businessman finds His girlfriend has been secretly dating one of The Doctors on the transplant team. He kills His cheating gal and fatally wounds the disgraceful Doc. However, His Partner is able to use Nostradamus Head and Brain to reanimate his recently deceased friend. However, the Doc removes the young man's head and attaches Nostradamus (ala early version of HP Lovecraft's ''Reanimator'').

Feeling cheated, our dying Businessman tracks down the hulking Corpse (which apparently lost all of Nostradamus intelligence), to a local Medieval Bell Tower. After a climatic fight, the Businessman falls to His death and a lumbering Nostradamus gets caught up in the Bell Rope. Tripping, the head pops off, killing the frightful Wrath.
