Born Arthur Flegenheimer, ‘’Dutch Schultz’’ was an early Organized Crime Founder in 1920s New York City. Bootlegger and Racketeer, His Criminal Syndicate was powerful – formed from the combination of many pre-existing Gangs. Even before the influence (and eventual takeover) of Italian Gangs – Schultz was able to ‘’buy’’ Politician and Law Enforcement with else. His worth is still unknown, but Dutch was also smart. He realized that at some future point He may very well need access to ‘’instant money’’, which leads us to 7 Million (USD). In 1935, Schultz (who by this time was in heated War with The Italian Mob leader Charles Luciano), ordered 7 Million in cash and bonds, locked into a large safe. This was to be carried into the ‘’wilds’’ of Upstate New York and buried (with only Schultz and two people knowing it's location). While dining at a local New York City Restaurant in October of 1935, Luciano’s Men struck. Several of Dutch’s bodyguards were killed – to include Dutch Schultz. To date, no one has ever revealed the supposed whereabouts of Dutch’s ‘’loot’’ The Legend become so sought after, that even several Italian Gangs sent Crews into Upstate New York to locate the hidden Million. Many Residents of New York have tried for generations (each with Their own ‘’clues’’) to locate Dutch’s Treasure. Said now to be worth closer to 25 Million in today’s funds – it would also have a ‘’Historical worth’’…….IF ever Found, that is!
