The Los Americas Airport Incident

On June 28, 1980 at 6:10 PM, A Ercoupe Private Plane had been cleared for a night flight from Los Americas International Airport (located in The Dominican Republic). The plane was heading to Puerto Rico. The weather was normal and visibility was good. The plane had a Pilot and 2 others on board. Around 8:00 PM, Air Traffic Control received a "Mayday" from The Ercoupe. The Pilot stated that a "glowing ball of Blue light" was "pursuing them". The Object was moving at an estimated 300-mph. The Object was also racked by several other airplanes, as well as several US Naval Ships. Radar showed The Ercoupe was overtaken by the Object, and simply "vanished" into the Object! No wreckage or bodies were ever recovered. All traces of the incident have vanished from official records. Had it not been for brave Airport Radarmen coming forward some 20 years later, The story would gave never been known.
