The Loch Raven Dam Incident

This sighting happened at The Loch Raven Dam, near Baltimore City, Maryland on October 26, 1958. A small recreational site was constructed which afforded local citizens a spot to boat, fish and enjoy the water. It also afford them the experience of seeing a Craft possibly from another World. Late afternoon, a groups at The Lake saw what appeared to be an ''egg shaped Object'' which produced a ''brilliant light''. Hovering no more than 300-feet from the ground, The Object ''seemed'' to want to ''be seen'' by all. The crowd of on-lookers at the Lake (all by now stunned), also found that anything with a battery (or electrical), no longer worked.

After 45-seconds, The Object began to rise higher and higher into the sky until it could no longer be seen. Additionally, all cars and items with batteries began to work. Several cars sped away to locate a phone to call local Police to the scene. Police arrive and took the many reports, but declined (later to investigate without any such proof). The ''proof'' was forthcoming by as many as 20 of the crowd. All in this group would go to the local hospital the next day, complaining of a strange ''sunburn-like'' rash and ''burning pain'', located on various locations of their body (or rather those parts exposed to the ''light'' of The Craft). Redness and blistering was common. Investigated by the now ''infamous'' US Government's ''Project: Blue Book'', no clear answer was ever given to the strange Maryland encounter.
