The Mother of all Modern monster stories is the world famous Cryptid called Nessie , The Loch Ness Monster. Living in Loch Ness, Nessie (as she has been affectionately tagged), is a reputed deep-fresh water creature, described as part-Serpent (or reptile) with fish like attributed. A long neck with a small head, Nessie has a huge Whale-type body with 4 large flippers (or fins). She was first documented around 565 A.D. The creature's Year was in 1933 when the first known photograph of Nessie was published (and possible one of the most famous in the World). Over the many long years, hundreds of expeditions have been conducted (with varying degrees of scientific commitment). Hundred of photos have been so scrutinized by Science and The World in general that it is unclear if ANY true proof could ever be advanced. Many think that of a creature in fact lives in the almost 800 feet of water that is Loch Ness (at it's deepest point). Many state it is a descendant of the prehistoric beast Plesiosaur, (others related creatures). Nessie has many Cousins and relatives throughout the World (Moraq, Chessie, etc). One thing is known believe it or not, something may be there (and we may never know what).
