At Lincoln Cathedral, located in Lincoln, England – is a strange sculpture which has been the sources of many Legends since the 14th Century AD. Of the many statues and related religious art inside, is a small sculpture of a small, winged and horned Demon (seemingly crawling up a support pillar). This is The ''Lincoln Imp''. The Tale deals with Satan who was quite annoyed with the joyfulness of The Cathedral. He sent two Demons to terrorize The Faithful there. Every time People would pray or sing to God, The Imps would ''smash and disrupt'' the Services. One day, The Priest invoked the power of The Archangel St. Michael to ''deal with'' The Imps. During the Service, as was expected – an Imp showed itself. Suddenly, The Archangel did as well and turned The Demon to stone. The other ran away. But to this day, the small stone Imp still resides – attached as it were – to the support column of The Cathedral, still staring in disbelief – at The Altar.
