The Levelland Encounter

November, 1957. The small Town of Levelland, Texas (west of Lubbock), was visited by something that didn't mind attracting A LOT of attention. It started at around 8 P.M. - when local Police were called by 2 Farm Workers. They stated that they were driving down a Rural Route road, when they saw a Blue Light up ahead of them. Continuing driving forward, the light got bigger and bigger until it flew over them . The 2 men said it went past with the sound of a rocket . Their vehicle lost all electric power and would not re-start. The men also remarked on the intense heat they felt when the Object flew over them. Several hours later, Businessman called to report a large blue glowing Egg , sitting in the middle of a road near Town. Within 200 yards of the Object, the man's car died and did not re-start until after the Object lifted off and up . By 12:45 A.M. - the Police had received dozens of calls from all different types of people in the area (all reports were basically the same). Several Police vehicles were dispatched to the various locations. One such check , had the local Sheriff experience the incident first hand. He stated a Red Egg flew over his vehicle (causing immediate engine troubles). These sighting went on until well after 2:00 A.M. Until they suddenly stopped. The incident was fully documented and reported to The US Air Force (who of course, had no explanation).
