The Law of Contagion

Magic, both Folk and Conjuring, apparently has it's own set of Rules and Laws which must be adhered to in order to ''work''. One principle regulation is that of The Law of Contagion. First written of in the late 19th Century AD, is is a process by which any Object so ''joined'' by magic (inanimate or Human), is forever joined together. The only way to remove such a ''Law'' is thru Banishing, Exorcism or related removal ritual. Relating to the Folk Magic practice of Hexing a personal item (clothing or jewelry, etc) – that maintains a ''spell'' on the afflicted. The mere Act of burning or destroying such an item does not necessarily mean that The Law of Contagion is broken. Thus a more formal Ritualistic process is often required.
