The strange and "Out of Place" Artifact known as The Lanzhou Stone, was discovered in Lanzhou, the Capital of Gansu Province, China in 1915. During an archaeological Expedition, workers uncovered artifacts from China's prehistory. While clearing rock fragments, a strange rock was uncovered. While examining the rock, it was broken open. A rather disturbing "find" was seen. Inside the rock, was a Copper Screw. Unfortunately, the rock in which the screw was firmly embedded was 100 Million years old! Given that Mankind, nor this type of technology did not exist at this time, bodes the question - "How did the Screw come to be there? " Many Skeptics state that the Screw is nothing more than a piece from a Copper vein, trapped in the rock, that merely appears to resemble a Screw (this is inclusive of definite screw twists). The screw is definitely machined by an unknown method. Smuggled out of China in the 1940s, it eventually made it's way to it's home at The Creation Museum in Glen Rose, Texas.
