Although the name ''Killakee'' is more related to a Mountain in Ireland - it was also used to identify a rather bizarre and perhaps evil organization, known as The ''Hellfire Club''. Dating to the 17th Century AD, these were ''Gentleman's Clubs'' reserved for only the most wealthy and well connected of England and Scotland's Lords. With Meeting Halls ''far removed'' from ''prying eyes'', it was said that these Men were actually experimenting with The Occult. While many ''tales and legends'' would spill into ''Common Society'', one such well known as The ''Killakee Cat''. In short, a large Feline was often seen wandering the outside of a ''Hellfire Club'' in Dublin, Ireland. The ''Cat'' would ''screech and howl'' at anyone who was NOT a Member of The Club – even attacking them with sharp claws and teeth. It was also said – in reality, the ''Killakee Cat'' was really a ''Familiar Spirit'' (Demon), conjured up for just such a task. The Cat was never sen during daylight and was said to have ''lived'' (remembered) hundreds of years. An while long since abandoned, the building said to be ''The Club'' is yet haunted by The ''Killakee Cat''.
