As we have seen with the previously discussed Grimore (a Spellcasting Book), the most powerful: of all was The origins of which are unknown, as often attributed to Lucifer himself. The Key is first mentioned around the 15th Century in Europe. The Book is a collection of Satanic verses and incantation used by Black Witches and Warlocks (specialists in Satanism). It was broken down into (5) parts or Chapters. These are: The Ars Goetia, The Ars Theurogia Goetia, The Ars Paulina, The Ars Almadel and The Ars Notoria. Each specializes in a specific type on spellcasting. The Key is best known for it having the most comprehensive collection of listing of all The Demons of Hell. Known as The 72 , each was listed in great detail with regards to their abilities and bestowed gifts when resurrected. No clear cut example of a Key of Solomon prior to the 15th Century exists, with the only version produced (since), dates from the 1920s and is closely linked to Satanic Priest, the infamous Aliester Crowley.
