The Kerman Incident

This Case comes from Kerman, Northern California on May 13, 1978. Located near Fresno, Kerman experienced multiple UFO sightings in the late 1970s and early 1980s for some reason. This incident involved a local Police Officer of The Kerman Police Department. On the night in question , Officer Manuel Amaparano was on routine patrol of the City around 3:30 AM. He noticed was appeared to be a "bright glowing light" near the local High School. Investigating, he drove up to an amazing sight near the Athletic Field. There, above a Palm Tree, was a "firey ball" (resembling the setting Sun. The Object was 100 to 150 feet off the ground. The proximity of The Object in relation to the palm tree, caused it to catch on fire. Officer Amparano shined his patrol vehicle spit light on The Object.

Immediately, The Object changed it's color to a bright Blue. Almost immediately after, The Object flew over the patrol car and shot up into space. Almost immediately, Officer Amparamo felt sick and drove to the area Hospital. He was diagnosed with severe burns on his chest and arms caused by over exposure to microwave radiation. All his injuries were experienced from the seat of his vehicle! He reported the encounter to The California Air National Guard (who naturally said nothing). The palm tree was removed. Of unusual note however, is that the surrounding ground is now sterilized - devoid of all organic nutrients. Officer Amparano continued to serve his Community until his retirement.
