The Kera Encounter

Not all ''Encounters'' with purported Extraterrestrial Craft involve massive ''Ships'' and ''Otherworldly Light Shows''. A rather strange incident happened in 1972 in The Kera Prefecture of Japan. Many Skeptics have labeled this tidbit a Hoax. You be the judge..........

A Young Boy was riding by a Rice Field in Kera. He noticed what appeared to be a ''Shiny, Hat-Like Object'' that was ''hovering over the field. Stopping to investigate, He noticed that The Object was barely 12-inches in diameter and was Disc-shaped. A smaller ''Dome'' was noticed on the top of The Object. It appeared to be solid. It made no sound and had no lighting. It simply ''hovered'' several feet from the ground! The Boy (who happened to have a small Camera with Him) snapped a photo of the strange Object. But He forgot His flash was on, and as soon as He snapped the picture the flash went off.

Almost immediately, The Object ''hit'' the field with a splash. The Boy left in a hurry for His Friends nearby home. Not really thinking The Object would still be there, He retrieved His Friend. Coming back to the field amazingly they found The Object was still in the exact same place. The two approached The Object carefully and picked it up. It had no appreciable weight in fact. They noticed that The Object had a pattern on the bottom that appeared machined. Other than this, no images were found. The Boys took the strange Object home to show their Parents. One of The Boys placed The Object into a cardboard box. When the Boys Parents came Home, they told them the incredible story. Wanting to see the item, they retrieved the box. When they opened it, it had vanished! The only proof they had was when they developed their photographs. Such ''Mini Saucers'' are not uncommon in UFOlogy. They are often seen as a form of Probe, sent by a much larger Ship. It has been speculated that the Boys film flash may have disrupted it in some way. That is until it was ''recalled'' by it's ''Owners''................
