A perpetrated Hoax, The ''Jafr Alien Invasion'' occurred outside The Town of Jafr, in Jordan (The Middle East), on April 1, 2010. Although compared by some with Orson Welles 1938 Radio Broadcast ''The War of The Worlds'', this Case was much smaller and less paid attention to by most. A Jordanian Newspaper published (on it's Front Page), a story stating that an Alien Invasion had happened near Jafr. All outside communications were ''cut off'' with The World and ''strange Lights'' were reported in the skies over The Town. Soon these ''Lights'' were identified as Alien Objects, which landed and released an ''Invasion Group'' of a dozen ''10-foot Tall'' Aliens (best described as ''Grays''). The story caused undue panic among the 13,000 residents of Jafr, who in most cases sheltered in place. Local Militia armed and prepared to ''fight off'' the impending ''invasion''. It was later determined to be a ''joke'' (in poor taste), which caused the Newspaper to print a retraction.
