A Classic American 1950s ''B-Movie'' shlock piece, well worth the zero special effects and silly acting 1956s ''The Indestructible Man'' starred one-time Monster Great, Lon Cheney Jr. Told in ''Narrative Style'' (over voice), the tale centers around a known Killer, put to death in Prison. Rather than a ''peaceful rest'', our Killer's body is sold to a Scientist. Our ''Mad Doctor'' uses the corpse to study the effects of His formula for rejuvenation of body tissues subjected to massive amounts of electricity. What happens, is that The Killer is revived as an ''indestructible'' Human Monster, impervious to bullets, bombs you name it.

Rampaging through The City, and apparently still remembering His criminal past, The Monster plans to continue with His former life of crime, unfettered by the fear of being killed. He is also super strong. Even The Army takes a crack at him, hitting him dead center with a Rocket round. That attempt to kill him failing, The Army tries to burn Him up with flamethrowers. Other that a bad suntan, The Monster continues on. It is learned that The Creature must occasionally ''recharge'' himself via electricity. Becoming more and more weakened, He seeks out the local Power Company for lunch. However, The Monster absorbs too much power and is fried literally.

So bad that it is good ''The Indestructible Man'', could be worse (and better). The dialogue was so bad that even though a now aged Cheney need the money from the film, He refused to read the original )few) lines. Producers wanting the ''Big Name'', agreed. Cheney speaks no lines with the script citing that when ''revived, The Monster lost it's vocal cords!''
