The Hooks Island Monster

 Photographed in 1965 off of Hooks Island in Queensland, Australia, many feel that the sighting and subsequent photos were faked. A Family out on a vacation, were boating off the Island. They saw this huge, serpentine creature swim past their boats totally unconcerned with their activities. Described as several hundred feet long, the beast had a huge, circular head very much like a Tadpole . It was a Black, Dark Grayish color. No facial features could be seen. It just swan by the Family heading for deeper water. The Monster was purportedly sighted several more times by others. Giving the state of photography then (1965) and lack of computer generated imagery - What Was It ?
