The Hofmeyer Skull

An unusual archaeological artifact, the so called ‘’Hofmeyr Skull’’ was found in 1952 near Hofmeyr, South Africa. The Human Male Skull is unique in that it is estimated to be 35,000 years old and quite ‘’modern’’ in it’s development. At a time when Humans had not quite achieve full Homo Sapien development, The Skull should NOT exist. No other skeletal remains or other artifacts were found near The Skull. Some cite ‘’The Missing Link’’ in Human evolution and that – based on the modernism of The Skull, it proves that Mankind did NOT evolve from the lower Primates (apes). However, many Scientists state that The Skull was ‘’mis-dated’’ or is a complete forgery to garner attention to The University that sponsored the first ‘’dig’’. Could The Hofmeyr Skull establish that Man and Ape share NO evolutionary link? Or could The Skull represent a far different ‘’path’’ in what Man is told about His History.
