A small Alpine Lodge nestled in Germany's Hochries Mountains, would be the location for an amazing encounter by the Owner of the Tourist Spot. The time was 1030 PM. It was December of 1973. Inside the Main Lodge Building The Owner and His Caretaker were admiring the wonderful night time view. The sky was full of thousands of Stars that night. All was fine, until the Men noticed one ''Star'' in particular seemed to ''glow differently from the rest''. What's more, this ''Light'' seemed to be ''growing larger'' in size. It also seemed that this ''Light'' was moving towards The Lodge. As this Object was in fact now seen to be moving, the color changed to Red. At first, both Men readily thought it to be a Helicopter. The ''Light'' appeared to be traveling somewhat low and seemed to be moving '' side to side''. Perhaps The Pilot was in trouble. The two Men quickly retrieved a Flare Gun and going outside, fired the flare into the air. The ''Light'' took notice for it seemed to correct it's flight course and approached the Lodge.
However, as The ''Light'' approached their location The Men saw that this Object was decidedly NOT a Helicopter. The ''Object'' was described as a ''Circular Disc'' which seemed to spin slowly. A series of Lights (mostly Red, but what appeared to be Blue ones as well) were likewise spinning around the perimeter of The Object. Very quickly, The ''Craft'' was hovering over The Men at a distance of what was estimated at as 200-feet. Both Men reported feeling ''warm, but not hot''. They both also were unable to ''hear'' anything outside of the vicinity of their location. B0oth Men reported being able to move but were unwilling to do so.
After several minutes, The Owner decided to fire another Flare (as a means of getting a response from ''whatever was inside'' The Object. Firing his flare at an angle (so as not to strike the Craft), the Craft seemed to ''change'' it's light pattern rotation. The Men were not sure if this was a form of response to their flare or not. After 30-minutes, and without warning the Craft simply rose to a great height. It then sped off into the night sky at ''great speed'. Both Men were in awe of their experience. Later, they would learn that this ''Object'' was reported being seen by many flying over several European Nations. Any Military response (Radar) was quickly dismissed as a technical ''glich''. It should further be noted that The Hochries Mountains have had reports of ''strange Lights'' and ''Objects'' flying over them for many hundreds of years. Most write them off to Meteors or other unknown ''Earth Phenomenon''.
