The Haratonohama Encounter

A well known early ''Alien Spacecraft'' encounter comes from early 15th Century Japanese reports. Said to detail a possible visit by a Craft or Probe of ''unknown or contemporary'' origins - the incident was possibly recorded in Hitachi, Japan. A Samurai (walking near the local Seashore) saw the landing of a spherical Object on the beach. He described it as looking like iron, with glass-like panels throughout . He further detailed strange writing on the side of The Object - which he did not know. Shortly, Beings (who resembled Japanese, exited the Craft). Reputedly, they communicated in Japanese to the astounded Warrior. Stating they had come from The Gods , he watched as they appeared to take samples of the sand and water. Waving farewell, The Beings and Craft raised up of the beach (without a sound) and disappeared straight up into the Heavens . Of course, his Family and Liege thought him drunk (or mad). The encounter was later transcribed into a 1803 written entry of the Region's history.
