The Gill Woman

 From Ancient Japan, The Gill Woman was reported in 1750. Said to live near the Fukuoka Region, she was said to reside in a nearby Lake. Resembling a Human Female, she was covered in Green scales. A pair of gills were seen on both sides of her throat. Her hands and feet were also webbed. Unable to be captured, The Gill Woman supposedly lived for several hundred years before she just vanished (or died ).
