The Giant of Castelanu

''Discovered'' in 1890 in Castelanu, France, the so-called ''Giant of Castelanu'' were reputedly the skeletal remains of a Neolithic Race of Proto-Humans. Based on written research documents, the unclassified ''Race'' were roughly 11-feet in height. Starting much fervor with the find – several well known Universities were allowed to study the bones. Said to have been ''found near a Cemetery'', this fact led to most thinking that the bones were not as ''ancient'' as they were reported. Still being examined in 1894, when the story began to become ''International'' in interest – they mysteriously vanished from the basement of The French Academy of Sciences. Other than several drawings, nothing of The ''Giant of Castelanu'' has ever been found.
