The Ghosts of Truk Lagoon

The Battle of Truk Lagoon (Micronesia, South Pacific) was fought on February 17, 1944. This also includes the very strange Paranormal Activities which have been reported as well. Hundreds and thousands of Ships went there for re-supply. Truk would become known in The West as The Japanese ''version'' of Pearl Harbor. US Naval Forces battered the Lagoon for three days, sinking and destroying over 55 Ships and killing an estimated 4,500 Japanese Servicemen. The Lagoon floor is littered with Ships to this day their cargo still intact. Japan left all of Her War Dead of the battle there still entombed within the many Ships. Over the years, many expeditions have been sent to explore and learn of that terrible day. Although one must be careful due to the many species of Sharks and related predators the floor of Truk Lagoon is a literal window into World War II. On several occasions, Divers exploring The ''Hoki Maru'' (a Cargo Ship carrying hundreds of Army Trucks), have ''heard underwater'' the unmistakable sounds of ''Truck engines ''turning over''. Sound recording have even been made. In another incident on another Ship, the sounds of ''banging'' can be heard from the Engine Room. Upon investigation nothing is found of course save the skeletal remains of The Engineering Crew (perhaps still ''working'' ) Glowing Orbs have also been reported ''dancing above the waters'' of Truk Lagoon. Such phenomenon is associated with the physical manifestation of a Spirit. Given the tragedy of Truk Lagoon, such activity in not out of the question!
