The Ghosts of The USS ''Arizona''

 Forever enshrined in American History, The USS ''Arizona'' was a Battleship of The US Pacific Fleet, which was destroyed during the Attacks against The Pearl Harbor Naval Base in Hawaii, on December 7th, 1941. The ''Arizona'' was hit several times by aerial attack, one hit which by chance ignited it's Powder Magazine. The result explosion literally ripped the Ship apart and took 1,177 Officers and Men to their deaths on that Sunday morning. The Battleship was left in place as a mute reminder to the loss of life and as a rallying point for The United States, then forced into World War II. In later years, much of Her surviving Upper Structure was removed, with just Her Hull and forward Gun Emplacement visible. A large marble Monument Deck was erected over Her in 1962. She has been visited by thousands of Persons over the years. In fact, Pearl Harbor survivors began to have their cremated remains entombed within The Hull, to Honor their fallen comrades who did not survive the Attack (the remains were left entombed inside The Hull as a War Memorial).

With such tragedy, one would expect Paranormal Activities. Many people taking photographs of The Arizona Memorial have looked at their pictures and reported ''seeing'' uniformed figures faintly visible. Could this be the Spirits of long dead Sailors from The Ship Others have reported seeing a particular Man in ''Tan Naval Uniform'' (at night) ''wandering the Monument Deck''. Since no one is allowed on ''Arizona'' at night when Police or Park Service Employees investigate nothing is found. Some say that it is the Deck Officer from ''Arizona'', who initially sounded the alarm when The Japanese attacked. He was killed on Deck. When placing Cremated Remains (in sealed tins), inside ''Arizona'', Employees have reported feeling like they are being ''watched''. Also, ''Shadows'' darting ''back and forth'' are also reported. But this could all be just imagination.....................
