The now abandoned Joelima Building, located in Sao Paulo, Brazil is a 25-story structure. Before the infamous and tragic World Trade Center Attacks of September 11, 2001 it was the site of the worst civilian skyscraper catastrophe in History. It is also said to be the site of one of the most haunted locations in South America. In 1974, an electrical fire started on the 12th Floor of The Joelima Building. Spreading very quickly due to a lack of comprehensive fire suppression devices, workers and people in the building were trapped despite the best efforts of local Fire Departments. 756 souls would perish horribly in the fire many unable to be identified by family and loved ones. Reconstructed and upgraded years later, currently The Joelima is the site of many reports of paranormal activities. ''Shadow People'', Cold Spots even ''physical'' manifestations have been reported. Some cite ''screams in the night'', the sounds of ''running feet' and often feeling of ''dread'' are also experienced.
