The Ghosts of The Comedy Store

The Comedy Store, located on the iconic ''Sunset Strip'' (Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, California) – has served as the ''launching pad'' for many World famous Comedians. The list is long and well known. But many do not realize, that long before The Store was a ''laughing spot'', it was a Restaurant/Bar called ''Ciceros''. The Store was owned by none other than American West Coast Gangster Micky Cohen. The Store was used by Cohen to ''entertain'' many of His East Coast ''Associates'' when they came to Los Angeles, California for ''business''. Rumor has it that several murders happened in the basement of The Store. Also, prostitution and gambling were an attraction for Mobsters. Many Comedians and Staff have told stories of the multiple and often unnerving Paranormal Activities which have been reported. Cold Spot are VERY common in The Basement, as is glasses and plates being ''thrown around'' by ''unseen hands''. There is also ''horrible odors, screams and unaccounted for footsteps when The Store is closed''. Some say that one of the supposed murder victims still haunts The Store, as does Cohen's Ghost. There is also a reputed Red stain on the floor of The Backstage, said to be blood from another murder (a shooting), which CANNOT be removed (as has been tried for 60-odd years). The Location has been featured on several Paranormal Television Reality Shows.
