While most may never had heard of the ''name'' of Bobby MacKey. An American Country-Pop Singer and Writer, He had a minor ''One Hit Wonder'' in the mid-1950s. MacKey was better known for His Songs and friendship with many iconic Country and Pop Singers. MacKey took His earnings in 1978, and purchased a well known Honky Tonk (Roadside Saloon, as it were), known as ''The Brisbane'' (Wilder, Kentucky). The ''ramshackle'' Inn was a spot for Him to put His many years of Music memorabilia and for people to come and quite frankly – ''raise Hell on a Saturday Night''. But ''Music World'' (as it was renamed), has yet another more sinister History.....it's purported quite ''Haunted'' grounds seem to serve as a Paranormal ''magnet'' for Poltergeists and such. MacKey Himself ''claims'' that it was on the spot The Saloon was built, was where the infamous Pearl Bryan's headless corpse was reportedly found in 1896. But in reality, Her remains were some 2 miles away. Still, MacKey is adamant that Her ''Headless Spectre'' is a common ''sight'' in The Club. So too are several Spirits from the 1930s and 1940s of Men who were murdered in a drunken brawl. In addition, the Ghost of a ''Pregnant Woman'', who murdered Her cheating Husband (a Singer at The Club) and hung Herself in His Dressing Room – is often ''seen and heard'' in The Club – after hours. Glasses that fly off their shelves, faucets and beer taps that turn on by themselves, even the occasional ''foul and cold stench'' can be experienced. Investigated many times, it is one of Kentucky's ''Most Haunted Bars''......and open for Business every day!
