The ''Commons'' of The City of Boston, Massachusetts (US), is a 50-square acre section of open field and woodlands, situated next to the City of Boston. So declared The ''Commons'' in 1634 AD, it has served many purposes over the Centuries. From a Cemetery (which was moved and renamed to The Granary – the final resting place of many of The City's most famed Revolutionary War Heroes), to a Camp for The British Army that occupied the area in the 1770s – The Commons also had a darker History. Used as a place of execution, The Commons was where the first convicted Witch in Massachusetts was hung (even before the infamous ''Salem Witch Trials''). The Commons saw two additional Witchcraft executions (and a few non-Occult executions as well). In the 1960s and 1970s – The Commons was a popular stop with The ''Irish Mob'', who used it to ''dump'' their often mutilated victims. As such, The Commons, while a ''beautiful place'' to visit – has MANY Paranormal incidents. The Ghostly forms of both British and American Colonial Soldiers are said to be ''seen'' wandering The woods of The Common, maybe unaware that they ''died'' Centuries ago. The same is said for ''confused'' Men and Women who seem ''out of place and time'' – long thought to be the Spirits of murder victims. And of course, more that one person has reports ''strange Orbs of Light'' which morph into ''Puritan Era'' Women – perhaps the ''wayward Spirits'' of the poor Women executed for being Witches.
