Few World War II atrocities can equal that of Babi Yar. A deep ravine with high earthen berms, Babi Yar is located on the outskirts of The Ukrainian City of Kyiv. It was at this ravine in September of 1941 that – over a two-day period, over 33,000 Jewish Men, Women and Children were massacred by members of Nazi Germany’s SS Police. Moved there by train and foot from all parts of then Soviet Russia, The Victims were told they were going to be relocated. They surrendered al their goods and were corralled into large standing groups of formations of lines (ranks). German SS them unloaded thousands of rounds of machine gun fire into the hapless crowds. The body piles rose so high that the executions had to stop for hours at a time – to allow for Soldiers to bury the remains in massive trench graves.
Long since declared a Memorial, the Site (while having the occasional green slopes of grass running thru the ravine), bears no resemblance to ‘’what’’ happened there. Stone memorials and statues will also be found, honoring the many thousands who were murdered. It is visited often (even those the totality of names of those killed may never be known). But Babi Yar is also often shunned b local Residents. The grounds are well known to harbor ‘’negative and vengeful’’ energies. Feelings of great ‘’pain and misery’’ are felt by those sensitive to such. Over the years, tales of ‘’Ghost Orbs’’ darting to and fro are common events. Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) Machines, have picked up ‘’voices’’ as well as the unmistakable sound of ‘’machine gun fire’’ (or so it is said!)
