Although on might associate the Title of this Article with that of American Horror Writer Stephen King s Pet Sematary , this real-life Cemetery is located in Calabasas, California. One of the largest of it s kind , The LA Pet Cemetery (much like the previously discussed Hollywood Forever Cemetery), is the final resting place for "famous" Pets. From one of Collies that served as Lassie to Tarzan s Chimp Cheeta The list is long. One does not have to famous, as The Pet Cemetery takes everyday Pets, as well. This brings us to the most famous of Pets , that of Tawney, The Lion . Tawney was the Brand used for The MGM Studios Lion, whose Roar announced each Picture.

Tawney is also rumored to be The Security for the property. Report of the unmistakable Roar can still be heard on the night. Which brings us to a 1980s encounter. A group of Teenagers jumped over the Walls, looking for a place to Party . Almost immediately, the Youth reported feeling being watched by something . Some even saw what appeared to be twin glowing cat eyes in the bushes. As the night progressed, a Lions Roar was heard nearby, with the sound of a Great Cat running towards the by now scared Youth. Scrambling for the Wall, all made it over, save one. This Young Man screamed in pain as something bit down on his leg. Later at The Hospital, Doctors were confused as to how the Trespassing Boy ended up with a Lion bite to his leg. But reports such as these, and other strange events are still reported at the LA Pet Cemetery.
