The Ghost of Surrey Road

 A strange story, more so because it really happened – deals with and incident that occurred in December of 2002. The A3 Highway, which goes thru Surrey, England – is often busy with vehicles. However, on this cold Winter night – Driver noted a car losing control and crashing from the road. Those that stopped dutifully – found no such wreckage or even evidence of damage of any kind. At least 10 Drivers stopped over a 2-hour period (from both directions), each claiming to be stopping for a ''car accident''. Finally, someone called local Constables. They checked the area and found nothing. It was determined, due to the darkness – to look a final time in the morning when the light was better.

It's possible that no one was prepared for what was found that morning. The Police did in fact find a Car wreck. In fact the vehicle was not all together that far from the Highway. It was simply obscured due to being in a deep side ditch. That plus the fact the vehicle was completely obscured by bushes and such. It had been this way for at least 6 months! The wreck was rusted and smashed. Police determined that the car was traveling to fast and lost control, perhaps even flying so fast from the Highway, that it flipped upside down and was crumpled almost flat on it's top. But that's not the worst of it. Near by, also obscured by weeds – was the physical remains of the driver, long since dead. It appeared that he was badly injured but able to crawl His way out of the wreck. Unable to be seen in the ditch (or even heard), He died of His injured. His body was covered by the growing bushes and was undiscovered for 6 months at least, it was determined.

But just what was reported by drivers the previous night? Many saw a functioning car traveling down the Highway, lose control and crash. When people stopped to possibly help – they could not find the wreck. Some state that people witnessed a Ghost Event, by which a tragedy ''repeats'' over and over until some form of reconciliation happens. Could people have seen a replay of such an Event? Police would eventually discover the driver's identity – a missing 21 year old Man reported missing by his Family 6 months prior. Laid to final peace, since 2002 – no other experiences have happened. Perhaps that's all ''He'' wanted after all................
