Margaret Brown, better known to History as ''Molly Brown'' or ''Unsinkable Molly Brown'' – was one of the few survivors of the ill-famed RMS ''Titanic'', which sunk in 1912 – with the loss of 1,500 lives. Molly's ''past'' was oft debated as ''dubious''. While by 1912, She and Her Husband were extremely wealthy, examples of The World's ''Gilded Age''- She started out from more ''hard scrabble'' beginnings. Some say a Colorado Saloon Girl (prostitute), others a simple, but ''hell raising'' farm girl – Molly fell in love with a Silver Prospector. His one ''shot'' produced one of the wealthiest Silver Lodes in Colorado History. Molly and Her Husband became Millionaires overnight. Molly began to acquire fine furniture, Art and of course, a fine Mansion to store them in. Molly lived in Denver, Colorado – but had Homes in new York (where she spent most of Her time). Self-educated (Tutors), Molly was not ''up in airs'' and well aware of ''where she came from''. Molly (after The ''Titanic'' Tragedy), would go one to found and raise funds for many worth while Civic Organizations (Poor Children and Single Mothers). Molly would die in New York from a brain tumor in 1932. She was buried in New York.
But soon afterwards, ''Molly'' (and perhaps Her Husband as well), have been ''felt and seen'' in their original Denver Home. A Museum now, filled with much of Molly's ''treasures'', many visitors report ''feeling cold hands'' tapping them on the back or ''moving things around'' for attention. Molly was noted for Her practical joking, and may still be ''playing tricks'' on people visiting Her House. There has never been anything malicious to ''Molly''. She and Her Husband have even been ''seen'' on the Upper Floors, either ''watching out the window'' or simply ''walking around'' their ''former Home''.
