The Ganzfield Experiment

Between 1972 and 1974, In New York City (US) – a series of 42 experiments were conducted based on the finding of German Psychologist Wolfgang Metzger, which were claimed to ''prove'' the existence of Extra sensory perception (ESP), as well as Telekinetic (the ability to move objects with The Mind) Abilities. The chosen Test Subjects all had ''advanced'' emotional and educational abilities which ''set them apart'' from what would be perceived as ''normal'' Persons. The Tests were intended to show that a Subject with ''demonstrated'' special abilities could ''send'' both word and picture ''messages'' to another Person (One who did not necessarily have ESP). And while the results of the Tests were deemed ''positive'' by Researchers, Mainstream Science discredited it as ''Parapsychology'' and ''Paranormal clap-trap''. It should however be noted, that some of the Experiments were also akin to several US Government ''Projects'' (at the time), which included the oft debated ''Remote Viewing'' attempts of The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and US Army, to ''create'' an Army of ''Psychic Soldiers''.
