The Franchi Arena Incident

Over 10,000 people witnessed a ''Flight'' of ''Strange Cigar shaped, Objects'', which flew thru the skies over a World Series Soccer Game in The City of Siena, Italy in 1954. Many (although much older now), still remember the Incident which was very much reported in Italian Newspapers at the time. Approaching from the East, many in the Crowd in The Franchi Arena Stadium, may have though that The Object was some sort of Airship (although the wide use of such for Advertising was still years away). As The Craft came closer, most noticed that it did not look like anything they had seen before. Several hundred feet long, The Object was ''Black'' in Color (which may have meant that The Craft simply emitted no light from it's overall bulk). Some small lighting ''effects'' were noted. The several Craft seen, made ''no noise'' as they floated above The Stadium (at about 1,000-feet). Without ''great haste'', The Objects departed. No Military ''response'' was seen. In fact, no Official Statement was ever made.
