The Fort Monmouth Encounter

Fort Monmouth, New Jersey was a small US Army Materials Base in the early 1950s. Considered in the woods (by some) it's location had nothing to do with the fact that an Alien Craft came by for a visit.....and may have even tried to land!. On September 10, 1951, local Radar picked up a strange Object flying at low altitude - over The State of New Jersey (US). With the beginnings of The Cold War and The Red Scare , many were on edge in America. Determining the Object to NOT be a friendly , a flight of Interceptors were alerted. After a 17-minutes arrival time, the Flight saw what appeared to be a large Saucer-shaped Object. The craft was hovering off the ground at an unknown height, in a clearing near a stand of woods on the far side of Fort Monmouth. A US Army Infantry Company was alerted as well and had begun to mount up in vehicles. Pilots made passes over the Object. They also determined that it appeared to look like several Beings were visible as well. After several passes, the Object stopped hovering and rose very quickly into the air. It changed it's course and streaked up into the sky. No known photos were taken and any Radar documentation has long since vanished .
