The Flying Bat Men of Okinawa

World War II was a period of intense suffering for The World, which saw nearly 1 Million Humans perish. A strange report arose from US Marine Forces fighting on The Isle of Okinawa in 1945. The hard pressed and determined Japanese Defenders were not going to surrender, and most Marine assaults required yard by yard advances and brutal hand to hand combat to remove The Japanese. But many Marines also told tales of another more ''frightening'' Enemy...namely The Batmen. It is well known War and it's traumas can cause most to ''see'' and experience great stress to their mind. Perhaps ''Battlefield Fatigue'' was the real cause. But reports from not only Okinawa, but other Islands in The Pacific – state that ''flying Humanoids, resembling part Human and part Bat'' would ''swoop down'' or ''lurk'' in the jungles. Shot at many times, none of these strange Entities were ever killed and no known photos exist. Some state that The Japanese actually summoned ancient Demons to help them fight The Allied Forces. Some Veterans of those Campaigns (still living), would laugh and say ''they knew the stories'' while others ''would become serious and NOT wish to talk of it''. Regardless, some Soldiers and Marine involved in these battles ''experienced something''.
