Since first mentioned by several Biologists who claimed to have ‘’seen’’ it in 1996 – but were unable to capture one, the so named ‘’Flashlight Frog’’ is a supposed Resident of the rainforests of Brazil (South America). While animal bioluminescence (some animal’s ability to produce biological chemicals – secreted thru glands, which give off a ''glowing effect’’) – none has ever been found in amphibian life. The small Frog (less that 3-inches), literally glows in the dark! The snot of The Frog, said to be shaped like a small Horn, also glows brightly (another reference to a Flashlight). To date, no one has ever been able to capture a living specimen (let alone a photograph), leading some Biologists to doubt The Frog’s existence.
