In a Canadian (Northumberland Water Strait) ''Ghost Ship'' Legend – the story of ''The Ghost Ship'' dates back 200 years. It was said that a ''treasure ship'' – laden with gold from ill gotten raids, went down in a violent storm in The Northumberland Strait. All hands were lost and the millions worth of treasure lost to The Sea. The Ship was said to have been stuck and set afire by a ''lighting bolt'' – sent from God as punishment for The Crews ''wicked deeds'' in piracy. To this day, The Ship is said to have been ''seen'' (a flame), floating in The Strait. It is said that to ''see it'', beckons the chance of One sinking themselves.
