Another famous UFO close contact case, happened on May 20, 1967 on Falcon Lake in Manitoba, Canada. Stephen Michalak (a Mechanic by trade), spent his off time in the Manitoba Hills prospecting for gold ore. At 12:15 P.M. (on the date in question), Michalak was examining a Quartz formation, when a flock of Geese began to fly by (squawking loudly and flying in disarray). Looking up, he saw a Cigar-shaped Object overhead (hovering at a slight angle). Slowly the Craft descended in front of him (160 feet). Approaching, Michlalak saw an opened door or hatch . He saw different colored lights and other equipment inside. Further, he thought he could hear voices inside . Withing several ore minutes, the Craft closed up it's door. Suddenly a grill looking panel appeared. All of the grill openings were the same size . Michlalak said he ''felt a blast of heat and saw a purplish glow'' . The force of the blast of air knocked him over as the Craft speed up into the air and out of sight. Michlalak was now on fire! His shirt was burning and he felt intense pain his his chest. He experienced vomiting, headaches and cold sweats. He was able to make it back down to his vehicle and get to a Hospital. Treated for several weeks, it was determined that the burns were inflicted by some form of super intense heat or light. Further, Michalak exhibited signs of suffering from moderate exposure to a radiation source . No clear explanation or Hoax, has been declared.
