The Faces of 9-11

 Although the tragedy of The September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attacks against The United States (which claimed thousands of lives and affected many thousand more), will never be forgotten, a strange and almost paranormal ''side bar'' developed from it. In terms of Media coverage, the horrible event was well recorded as it happened, Many Media Outlets based in New York City were able to provide live coverage from the beginning to the end. The most ''on the spot'' coverage was performed by CNN (Cable News Network). However, CNN ''caught'' strange facial images which resulted from both Aircraft impacts to The Twin Towers and the resulting explosions and fire. The images (to some), resemble the very face of ''The Devil'' (Satan) or at best, the faces of Demons in the smoke and fire. Many Worldwide ''claimed'' to see them. They were more pronounced when still photos were released around 2005.

As we have discussed in previous Articles The ''Face of Mars'' (Cydonia) is another example. Many ''see'' what clearly is a humanoid ''Face'' so large that it is visible from Space. These images (and the many thousands of other such ''Martian Artifacts'') fall into what Scientists term ''Pareidolia''. The ability in Humans, allows us to perceive recognizable and identifiable objects from chaotic and unrecognizable pattern. The ability can be also given to various perceived Religious ''experiences'' in Nature (petroleum oil ''spots'' that appear to be Biblical Figures or even Food ''shaped'' as such). It is said that once an Object or pattern is recognized and announced, others will begin to ''see'' what the original viewer ''sees'. A good ''imagination'' or a ''hyper'' creative person is often cited as the true reason of why Pareidolia is stronger in some.

Other sources cite a cruel sense of the macabre by manipulating the images to resemble ''Demons''. This debate is still being fought, as CNN has yet to release any Negatives for examination. Pareidolia, Film Manipulation or perhaps a ''supernatural'' warning that the heinous Act was so evil in performance, that only The Devil could have been responsible.......You decide.
