The Eyre Highway Encounter

The Australian Eyre Highway Encounter happened in January of 1988. A Woman and Her (3) Sons (plus The Family Dog) were enroute from The Town of Nullarbor to South Australia to visit relatives. It was dusk and no other vehicles were present (or had been seen for several hours). This was common for the long and lonely stretch of Australian Outback Region. As they drove, they noticed a ''strange light'' which appeared to be at eye level - off in the distance. Thinking perhaps it another car approaching in the distance, no great worry was given. However, the closer they got to the light, they soon realized that the ''light was moving straight up into the air ABOVE them''.

The Family stated that they heard ''loud humming'' which caused them almost immediate pain to their ears. Unable to drive because of this, The Mother stopped the car in the middle of the Highway. Suddenly, a ''burning, electrical smell'' was noticed and very soon after, a strange ''blue powder'' began to descend from ''The Craft''. It seemed to The Family that their vehicle was ''lifting into the air!'' Terrified, after several minutes the car simply ''fell back to Earth''. The occupants could not determine how high they were lifted off the Highway, but the car was able to be driven.

Skeptics state that The Family actually encountered a ''Secret Mission'' NASA or US Government Space Shuttle (out of control and trying to make an emergency landing). The ''burning smell'' and ''blue powder'' was likened to the ''mechanical problems'' of The ''Craft'' and the ''anti-fouling paint'' from The Shuttle's fuselage Tiles. Of course, The Mother stated that it was no type of Aircraft and stated that such would not have elevated the Family Car off ''the ground''. It was further stated that The Family experienced a very ''rare'' mini-Tornado which was created from electrical particles in the atmosphere. At least that is what The Skeptics say..................................
