''The Evil Dead'' (Khandarian Demon) (1982)

 The main creature from the American Cult Horror Classic of 1982, The Evil Dead, these are ancient (and evil)  spirit demons. Having no form of their own, they trace their origins to Ancient Sumeria. Invoked by The Book of The Dead (a collection of spells), they will possess humans and use their bodies for their own ends. A type of undead, zombie-like creature, they will not readily give up their Host (until it is dead). The only way to rid someone of a Khandarian Demon is to totally dismember them. In this form, the Demon cannot move around (or control their Host body). They will move on to the next. They must inhabit another form within several hours, or face going back to their Netherworld. The creatures appear in 4 sequels.
