The Everglades Encounter

The Florida Everglades are one of the last true natural Swamp eco-systems still viable in The World. The natural wetlands were as a natural filter for the surround wildlife's water system (with regards to it's proximity to The Atlantic Ocean). Many parts of The Everglades are still unexplored (and many seldom seen), except by local Seminole Indians. Still a popular hunting locale, in 1965 The Everglades became some much more, the sight of an unusual encounter with possible Alien Life! James Flynn was camping in the vast expanse of The Everglades National Park. He was an experienced Hunter and Woodman.

Hunting was normally done at night and very early morning (owing to animal high activity during these times). At around 1:00 AM on March 12, Flynn (deep into The Swamps), saw what appeared to be an unusual light , hovering some 200-yards from his position. This kind of activity was unusual for this far out in The Swamps, so Flynn proceeded to investigate carefully . Upon closer inspection, Flynn stated he saw what appeared to be a Floating, pyramid-shaped Object hovering about 30-feet above The Swamp. The Object had many smaller lights that were pulsating. The Object was also slowing rotating in a clockwise motion. Flynn initially thought that the Object may belong to Cape Kennedy (NASA) farther up the Coast. The Object was estimated to be 75-feet high and 25-feet at it's base . Suddenly (and without warning), Flynn was struck by a bright white light and passed out.

When he awoke, he noticed that he could only see with one eye. He reckoned he had been out for several hours. Making his way to his Camp (and eventually to a Hospital), his blindness in one eye was determined to be flash blindness . It returned to normal within several days. Later, Flynn and friends returned to the location and found several flattened swamp-grass circles (crushed), as if an Object of some great weight had landed there. To this day, the Case had not been explained (or address for that matter by Authorities).
