''The Estimate of The Situation''

The ''Estimate of The Situation'' was a 1948 United states Air Force Assessment Document which was written by Executives of ''Project Sign'' (a Group within The USAF tasked with investigating Unidentified Flying Objects). ''Sign'' was the forerunner to the ''infamous'' ''Project Blue Blue''. The Estimate of The Situation determined that of all evidence collected up to that point, the only likely explanation for UFOs was that they originate from ''Extraterrestrial Sources'' (not of any World Government). The document has ''appeared'' in fragments, often discredited by most as being hoaxes. While The US Government had admitted (reluctantly) that ''The Estimate'' did exist, it is still considered ''CLASSIFIED despite decades of Freedom of Information Act requests of The Public.
