Sometimes referred to as The "Petradox", this stone was hotly debated by Skeptics as being an obvious faked "Out of Place" Artifact. But various tests do prove one thing. Whatever it's "origins", The Enigmalith is nonetheless a puzzle. Found in 1998 by Rock and Fossil Hunter John Williams, the unusually rounded piece of Granite was taken from an unspecified location in North America. An Electrician by trade, Williams thought that it was odd that a piece of metal was extended from the rock face. Cleaning away debris, Williams was shocked to find what appeared to be a "Modern" XLR Connector (or something close to it), embedded into the stone. Taking the stone to a University, it was determined that a base age of 100,000 years was attached to the stone. X-rays of the "Prong", shows that it was not glued onto or otherwise affixed to the rock. It appeared to have been embedded by the natural course of time. The "Prong" additionally registers a wealthy magnetic field. It is not made of any known metal, wood or plastic. Williams claimed he was harassed by The Government about his strange find. This is why he refuses to give an exact location. Williams feels that if The stone is part of a possible "downed" Spacecraft from a millennium ago (as he suspects), there may be more evidence. Williams has to date, produced no more information about his unique discovery. This caused Skeptics to launch into the proof that the so called "Artifact" was hoaxed.
