Seen in Elmendorf, Texas (US), The Beast is very much like the Chupacabra stories often told in Mexico (and The Lower West). Described as a hairless cross between a Coyote and a Wolf (perhaps cross-species breeding), The Beast has been reported as early as 2004. Noted for attacking livestock, the creature is often described as small (at 3 to 4 feet long) to large (at 6 feet). Shaped much like a Greyhound (with a high arched back) The Beast is fast. Many examples have been shot and killed by local Ranchers (with plenty of pictures provided to the Local News and Scandal Magazines). Scientists are still slow (or incapable) of identifying the species).
