Easton Cemetery is located in Easton, Connecticut. It is considered on of the oldest in the State. After The American Civil War, it was briefly renamed "Union" Cemetery in honor of the large number of unknown Northern Army war dead buried there. Since the late 19th Century until now, it is also the "home" to a local ghost known as "The Lady in The Bonnet". Seen in various "forms", she is described as a middle-aged woman in a long dress and wearing a Bonnet. "She" wanders among the headstones, as if looking for something. Many feel she is searching for a loved one, buried in one of the UNKNOWN War graves. Photographed many times, skeptics claim it is nothing more that fog being seen at different angles - in various lighting conditions. Others claim that the so-called "mist" will "react" to voices and movement!
