Dundas Island is not ‘’far’’ from Canada’s Arctic Far North. Few People, other than occasional Tribal hunting, ever go there. However, Natives Tribesmen tell stories of a ‘’Flying Devil’’ or ‘’Demon’’ which was later called by Europeans to The Region as ‘’The Black Fly’’. But these ‘’Demons’’ are NOT like normal Flies. Said to grow to 6-inches in length, The ‘’Black Fly’’ swarms it prey – to drain it of blood and when done, consume it’s flesh – leaving only bones. Said to be noted for the ‘’loud droning of many hundreds’’ when they fly, these carnivorous Flies can also survive biter cold (which most species of Flies cannot). Local Indians state that The ‘’Black Flies’’ (who are as stated, are completely black), are in reality ‘’Sky Demons’’, who prey on wayward Humans. Many Expeditions have tried to find proof of such an ‘’invasive and possibly dangerous species’’, without any luck…….So Far!
